Field Service Technician - Mobile Plant

About the role

Komatsu Australia is looking for a Field Service Technician to join its Wacol team. You will maintain and repair Komatsu customer equipment on site, working safely and efficiently to a high standard. Shifts run 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair mobile plant equipment.
• Test and adjust machine operating and monitoring systems.
• Complete accurate technical reports and service documentation.
• Support major field-based maintenance activities.
• Work safely and efficiently across customer sites.
• Build strong relationships with customers and your team.

Required profile

• Trade qualification as a Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent).
• Solid experience with hydraulic diagnosis and repair.
• A strong safety mindset and the ability to work independently or within a high-performing team.
• Ability to deliver a high level of customer service in line with the Customer Support Charter.
• A current manual driver's licence and a forklift licence are advantageous.
