Field Service Supervisor – Mechanical

About the role

The Field Service Supervisor – Mechanical will lead the off‑site service team for Cummins engines across automotive, industrial, marine, high‑horsepower and power generation applications at our Adelaide branch. You will ensure efficient daily operations, safety compliance and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day field service activities and schedule repair events for the branch.
• Lead, mentor and coach field service technicians, remotely supervise repairs and sign off on work.
• Track and measure technician productivity and performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Provide technical support to staff and conduct quality checks.
• Maintain a safe workplace in line with OH&S requirements and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory/leadership experience with a strong technical background, preferably in heavy diesel.
• Significant workshop experience and strong people‑management skills.
• Motivated to develop a high‑performing, safety‑focused team.
• Heavy vehicle qualification – preferred.
