Field Service Electrical Lead - Regional NSW

About the role

An experienced industrial electrician, electrical supervisor or engineering team leader is sought to take ownership of a growing regional operation based in Dubbo, NSW. The position leads electrical field services across regional NSW, overseeing a team delivering electrical, automation and infrastructure projects in water, wastewater, utilities and industrial environments. It is a highly autonomous, full-time permanent role combining team leadership, project delivery, technical support, client relationships and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and support field-based electricians and technical staff
• Manage daily operations, project scheduling and resource allocation
• Oversee electrical installations, maintenance and project delivery
• Travel to regional customer sites to oversee works and maintain relationships
• Provide technical support for electrical breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting
• Work across water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, pumping stations and reservoirs
• Manage customer relationships with councils, utilities and industrial clients
• Support quotations, tender submissions and local business development
• Mentor apprentices, electricians and junior team members
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget, with high standards of safety, quality and compliance

Required profile

• A-Grade electrical licence (NSW or Australian) and electrical trade qualification
• Strong industrial electrical and automation experience
• Experience in water, wastewater, utilities, infrastructure or industrial environments
• Previous experience leading electricians, supervising projects or coordinating field teams
• Willingness to travel between regional NSW customer sites

Required skills

• Exposure to PLCs, SCADA, telemetry, instrumentation and motor control systems
• Knowledge of MCCs, switchboards, VSDs, soft starters, pumps, motors and valves
• Strong organisational, scheduling and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management

What we offer

• Base salary of $150,000 - $160,000 plus superannuation
• Total package of $200,000+ including a fully maintained company vehicle and additional allowances
