Project Supervisor - Coal Mine Infrastructure Upgrades

About the role

An experienced Project Supervisor / Project Engineer is sought to support the delivery of infrastructure upgrades at an established coal mining operation in Central Queensland. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys managing contractors, coordinating works and driving projects through to completion. The contract runs 3-6 months with potential extension.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee several existing site infrastructure projects, including sewage treatment plant upgrades, workshop and facilities improvements and general mine-site infrastructure projects
• Supervise and coordinate contractors
• Manage safety, quality, schedules and project delivery
• Support project handover and closeout

Required profile

• Experience as a Project Supervisor, Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Background in mining, construction or heavy industry
• Strong contractor management and site execution experience
• Civil, mechanical or site infrastructure project exposure
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable taking ownership of existing projects
