Field Engineer – SMP/Pre‑Assembly

About the role

The Field Engineer will support construction superintendents in developing work‑scope packages and cost estimates for the pre‑assembly programme of the Eva Copper Mine Project. This role focuses on structural, piping and electrical support infrastructure elements and ensures field engineering activities are safe, complete and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for coordination and resolution of structural, piping and electrical support issues in the pre‑assembly yard and field.
• Assist the Advanced Work Packaging team in creating detailed work packages.
• Develop and manage material plans, verify quantities and validate cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and technical standards through inspections and testing.
• Coordinate subcontractors and support the execution of field engineering tasks on‑site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field engineering within EPC or mining projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural, piping and electrical support infrastructure.
• Ability to work closely with construction superintendents and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with safety and quality control procedures in remote, on‑site environments.
