Family Office Tax Specialist - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Senior Associate in its Private Tax team, within the Entrepreneurial & Private Business (EPB) - Family Business line of service. You will support families and businesses navigating complex tax and wealth challenges, delivering tailored tax compliance and strategic planning for privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, family offices and philanthropic entities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with complex tax compliance issues
• Design and implement structures aligned with clients' commercial objectives
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office, including representing clients during ATO engagements and managing tax reporting obligations
• Advise on the purchase of new investments or business assets
• Support families in transferring wealth between generations, including through estate planning
• Help clients contribute to causes through private charity and philanthropic giving

Required profile

• Ability to ensure accuracy and timeliness in tax compliance and reporting
• Ability to deliver strategic tax planning
• Strong relationships with colleagues and clients
• Experience valued even if not every requirement is met
