Factory Hand - HVAC Ductwork Fabrication

About the role

A client of WorkPac in the HVAC industry is looking for an experienced factory hand to help fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork in Bibra Lake. The role is casual, paid $35.00 per hour plus super, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:06pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The successful candidate works alongside experienced tradespeople to make sure products are manufactured accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of HVAC ductwork
• Measure, cut and assemble ductwork to specification
• Operate power tools such as jigsaws, drills and cut-off saws
• Help tradespeople with general workshop and manufacturing duties
• Handle and move ductwork materials
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and organised
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and report to the Site Supervisor

Required profile

• Previous experience using power tools
• Previous factory, manufacturing or workshop experience desirable
• Physically fit and able to handle and assemble ductwork
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a commitment to health and safety
• Current driver's licence (highly regarded)

Required skills

• Operating jigsaws, drills and cut-off saws
• Following instructions and working well alongside tradespeople
