Facilitator – Training Pathology Collectors

About the role

The Facilitator will deliver high‑quality training and assessment for pathology collectors and coaches across Healius’s national network. You will combine pathology expertise with facilitation skills to ensure safe, professional, and customer‑focused learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging virtual and face‑to‑face training sessions for new and existing pathology collectors.
• Conduct competency assessments in line with the National Certification Framework and NATA requirements.
• Coach and mentor coaches, promoting consistency in training delivery.
• Maintain accurate training and competency records and ensure alignment with SOPs, policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Pathology Collector, preferably with specialist collections such as Drug & Alcohol screening or Paediatrics.
• Demonstrated experience in training, coaching or developing others.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• Willingness to travel between sites, including regional and interstate locations.

Required skills

• Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience using online or blended learning platforms.
