Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a thoughtful, passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Only About Children in Geebung. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality, play‑based learning that supports children’s confidence, wellbeing and school readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high‑quality early learning program, planning, documenting and evaluating learning using the assessment and planning cycle.
• Design curriculum informed by child development frameworks, oral language, social‑emotional skills and problem‑solving.
• Mentor educators in intentional teaching, documentation, reflective practice and inclusive learning.
• Partner with families to support each child’s learning, wellbeing, culture and individual needs.
• Contribute to quality improvement processes, self‑assessment, team meetings and campus‑wide educational improvement.

Required profile

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification from a recognised university or ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Teacher registration or accreditation where required.
• Minimum three years’ demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, child development, statutory regulations and inclusive practice.
• Current Working with Children Check and relevant state‑based child protection clearance.
