About the role

RMIT is inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to express interest in professional, vocational or academic positions across its Melbourne, Bundoora and Brunswick campuses. The invitation covers identified, targeted and mainstream roles, offering both fixed‑term and ongoing opportunities with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to teaching, professional services or academic activities within your chosen discipline.
• Engage with the Indigenous Staff Network and the Ngarara Willim Centre to support cultural safety and self‑determination initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external Indigenous partners to embed Indigenous perspectives into curricula and research.

Required profile

• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander identity (only eligible applicants).
• Relevant qualifications or experience for the professional, vocational or academic area you wish to pursue.
• Commitment to RMIT’s values of cultural respect, inclusion and responsible practice.
