Experienced Utility – FIFO (South Australia)

About the role

IronMerge People is recruiting experienced FIFO utility staff for casual pool roles in its South Australian operations. The roles are based in Adelaide and cover kitchen and dining, housekeeping, retail and tavern, and minesite cleaning. They are casual FIFO from Adelaide Airport, with 2:1 swing shifts or ad hoc leave cover available, and successful applicants can start as soon as possible after mobilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Kitchen and dining: food handling, food preparation, pot washing, general cleaning and dining room service
• Housekeeping: accommodation, site facilities and public areas
• Retail and tavern (RSA essential)
• Industrial and minesite cleaning

Required profile

• Recent FIFO or DIDO experience in Australia
• Willingness to work in any department onsite, including kitchenhand work and night shifts if required
• Adelaide-based applicants only; interstate and overseas applicants are not considered
• Full Australian working rights with at least 6 months' validity on the visa
• Current active Australian C class manual driver's licence (unrestricted)
• Current national police check within 6 months, or willing to obtain one
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen, plus ongoing 28-day drug testing if required

Required skills

• RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Forklift ticket (desirable but not essential)
