Experienced Truck Driver – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking experienced truck drivers to support the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project. The role involves transporting materials, plant and equipment across remote construction sites in New South Wales on a 14‑day on / 7‑day off roster.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles to move materials, equipment and plant safely across the site.
• Perform pre‑start checks and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Secure loads in accordance with safety and compliance standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities in coordination with site crews.
• Support general site duties as required.
• Follow site safety procedures and fatigue‑management requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating heavy vehicles in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Valid HR/HC/MC driver’s licence (MC highly regarded).
• Experience on renewable‑energy projects is desirable.
• Rigging or dogging tickets are highly valued.

Required skills

• Heavy‑vehicle operation.

• Load‑securing techniques.
• Possession of HR/HC/MC licence.
• Rigging ticket.
• Dogging ticket.
