Experienced Stonemason Installer

About the role

An established stone benchtop specialist in Smithfield is looking for an experienced stonemason installer to join its on-site install team. The role involves installing premium natural stone benchtops, vanities and splashbacks across residential and commercial projects around Sydney. It is hands-on work for someone who takes pride in a clean, precise finish.

Key responsibilities

• Template, transport and install natural stone benchtops, vanities and splashbacks
• Level, scribe and join stone on site to a high standard
• Handle, lift and transport slabs safely using trolleys and lifters
• Liaise with clients and site supervisors to keep jobs on track
• Final clean-up, silicone and quality check before handover

Required profile

• Proven experience installing natural stone benchtops on site
• Strong eye for detail and a clean, precise finish
• Current driver's licence
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player

Required skills

• Confident with grinders, polishers and levelling tools
• Natural stone benchtop installation
