Experienced Process Operator – Iron Bridge Project

About the role

Fortescue is seeking motivated Process Operators to join the Iron Bridge project in Western Australia. You will work on a diverse, safety‑focused team delivering innovative mining operations while supporting the company’s decarbonisation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wet or dry plant processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow Standard Work Instructions to ensure consistent performance.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Provide clear shift handovers and maintain daily reports/logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
• Identify and mitigate hazards promptly to maintain a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Experience operating large‑scale wet or dry processing plants (mining experience highly regarded).
• Strong safety focus with ability to conduct risk assessments.
• Previous exposure to control room operations is advantageous.
• Mobile plant operation experience (front end loader, skid steer, overhead crane, telehandler) desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, including effective two‑way radio communication.
• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence.
