Experienced Blackberry Picker – Tasmania 2026/2027

About the role

Costa, Australia's leading grower, packer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables, is recruiting blackberry pickers for its 2026/2027 harvest team at its farm in Dunorlan, Tasmania. The work is casual, with hours depending on crop availability and operational needs, and involves physically demanding tasks such as walking and repetitive movements of the hands, wrists and arms.

Key responsibilities

• Pick blackberries in line with crop forecasts and operational requirements.
• Be flexible and willing to work across other farm areas as required.
• Work on a casual basis, with hours set by crop availability and operational needs.
• Receive on-the-job training from experienced supervisors to maintain high fruit quality standards.

Required profile

• Genuine blackberry picking experience (preferred).
• Reliable transport, as the farms are in regional areas and not accessible by public transport.
• Reliable, motivated and productive.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and respect people from all cultural backgrounds.
• Enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in producing high-quality fruit.
• Previous Costa workers should include their Costa Payroll ID in their application.
