ECommerce Development Manager

About the role

Mondelēz International, a global snack company with brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Philadelphia, Belvita, Ritz and Toblerone, is looking for a commercially sharp, digitally driven eCommerce Development Manager in Melbourne. Reporting to the DCommerce & Media Lead ANZ, you will own the performance and optimisation of the company's eCommerce channels end-to-end, covering search, content, activation, assortment and availability across Coles, Woolworths, Amazon, Uber Eats, DoorDash and beyond. This is not a support role: you will have genuine ownership, real P&L influence and a direct line to commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own eCommerce trading performance across major retailers and Quick Commerce partners
• Lead digital shelf analytics and reporting, spot gaps, seize opportunities and drive corrective action
• Manage retail media with Cartology, Coles 360 and emerging partners, owning the ROI story
• Build and execute the Amazon strategy, including 1P vendor portfolio management
• Lead Quick Commerce partnerships, strategy, campaigns and incremental growth
• Optimise content with the CX team to lift conversion and engagement across every touchpoint
• Turn consumer, shopper and market data into actionable commercial plans
• Identify and onboard new channels (pureplay, D2C) to expand the digital footprint
• Lead and develop a small, high-performing eCommerce team

Required profile

• 5+ years in FMCG/CPG commercial roles (Sales, Category, Account Management)
• 2+ years in a dedicated eCommerce role
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence cross-functionally and present insights that drive action

• Digital shelf tools: CIQ/NIQ, Nielsen, IRI, Quantium Checkout, Homescan
• Retail media activation (Cartology, Coles 360)
• Quick Commerce strategy and campaign management (Uber Eats, DoorDash)
• SEO / digital shelf search bidding (e.g. Citrus)
• Amazon 1P vendor management (preferred)
