Exercise Physiologist - Community Contract, Brisbane

About the role

Alpha Allied Health is recruiting Exercise Physiologists for a community-based contract role in Brisbane. The position offers flexible hours and caseload, competitive remuneration and future growth opportunities to expand experience into residential aged care and private settings. You will provide exercise physiology services to clients in their homes to improve their independence and quality of life, building your own caseload of community clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and exercise interventions to optimise client independence and quality of life, with a high level of care and professionalism.
• Produce comprehensive written reports and deliver them within required timeframes.
• Maintain thorough client-related documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals and referring partners.
• Manage client and family feedback and take corrective action so services stay positive and responsive to client needs.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and current ESSA registration.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Demonstrated skills and experience, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
• Current ABN.
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
