Exercise Physiologist – Aged Care (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

ACH Group is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join its multidisciplinary health team across the Christie Downs and Glenelg sites. This 12‑month fixed‑term position focuses on delivering evidence‑based exercise programs that promote wellness, re‑enablement, and chronic disease management for older adults.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver individual and group exercise programmes in the Health Studio, client homes, and community settings, including water‑based sessions.
• Develop innovative service offerings and contribute to program‑related KPIs.
• Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve measurable health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, quality assurance records, and reporting.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including health professionals, families, and support workers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in the supervision of students or junior staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Exercise Physiologist with experience working with older populations.
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence‑based practice in diverse settings.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with clients, families, and health teams.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, client‑centred care.

Required skills
