Executive Remuneration & Governance Manager

About the role

Within ANZ’s Talent & Culture division, the Reward & Performance team is looking for an experienced Executive Remuneration & Governance Manager. This senior position sits at the intersection of executive pay, governance and regulatory compliance, providing expert advice to senior executives and Non‑Executive Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead executive remuneration matters across appointments, reward structures and annual reviews, ensuring alignment with ANZ’s frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts and senior stakeholders to influence key remuneration decisions.
• Draft Board and Committee papers, delivering clear, evidence‑based insights and recommendations.
• Provide regulatory guidance to support compliance with internal policies and external frameworks.
• Drive market intelligence and benchmarking, translating insights into practical recommendations.
• Enhance governance frameworks and processes to improve efficiency, control and consistency.
• Act as a trusted advisor and informal leader across Reward & Performance and broader Talent & Culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in remuneration, market benchmarking and regulatory compliance, preferably within financial services or large complex organisations.
• Proven ability to plan, manage and deliver high‑impact workstreams at pace.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior leaders.
