Executive Officer – Deputy Vice Chancellor (Catholic Mission)

About the role

The Executive Officer provides high‑level administrative, digital and project support to the Office of the Deputy Vice‑Chancellor (Catholic Mission) at Australian Catholic University’s North Sydney campus. The role assists the Identity and Mission Directorate and the Associate Director, Mission and Ministry, ensuring smooth operation of the office.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Deputy Vice‑Chancellor’s diary, travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
• Provide event coordination, including planning, set‑up and post‑event follow‑up.
• Manage finance and procurement processes in line with university policies.
• Develop and maintain digital and print resources that support faith formation, spirituality and the university’s Catholic identity.
• Handle stakeholder communications and liaise with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑level administrative and project support within a complex organisation.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple calendars and travel itineraries.
• Experience in event planning, finance administration and procurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of Catholic mission and higher‑education environments is desirable.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract until September 2027.
• Total remuneration pro‑rated $112,625 – $120,977 per annum (salary component $95,170 – $102,227).
• 17% employer superannuation contribution.
