Executive Director – Corporate Services

About the role

The Executive Director – Corporate Services leads the City of Armadale’s corporate functions, ensuring financial services, strategic planning, transformational projects and customer experience align with community aspirations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and governance while maintaining financial oversight and risk management.
• Oversee multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver integrated services, projects and capabilities.
• Collaborate with elected members, community stakeholders and external partners to secure funding and influence policy.
• Drive strategic planning, good governance and sustainable financial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with the City’s Strategic Community Plan and Business Area Plans.

Required profile

• Proven strategic leadership of large, multi‑disciplined teams in the local government sector.
• Experience in leading strategic financial planning and building high‑performance teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce with a valid CA or CPA accreditation.

What we offer

• Total Reward Package of $290,000‑$330,000 per annum (base salary, vehicle, superannuation, mobile phone, professional membership contribution, fitness centre membership).
• Maximum term contract of up to 5 years.
