About the role
The Executive Assistant provides high‑level support to the Chief Executive of a not‑for‑profit society operating in South Australia. Working in a fast‑paced environment, the role acts as a trusted partner, coordinating executive priorities, governance activities and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Chief Executive’s complex diary, arrange travel, and coordinate meetings and events.
- Prepare, draft and circulate correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing papers.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including venue bookings, catering and logistics.
- Administer governance meetings (Board, Council, Executive Committee, etc.) and ensure timely distribution of notices, agendas and minutes.
- Maintain corporate records, databases and compliance documentation with confidentiality.
- Liaise professionally with Board members, Councillors, government representatives, sponsors and service providers.
- Oversee general office functions, meeting‑room coordination, hospitality supplies and process related administrative documentation.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to provide high‑level executive support in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and sound judgement.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to manage competing priorities accurately and efficiently.
