Executive Assistant – Indigenous Portfolio

About the role
Provide high‑level executive and administrative support to the Deputy Vice‑Chancellor (Indigenous) and senior portfolio staff, contributing to the delivery of Indigenous strategy across the university.
Key responsibilities
- Manage diaries, arrange travel and coordinate meetings for the DVCI and senior staff.
- Plan, implement and oversee a range of administrative functions for the Indigenous Portfolio.
- Prepare agendas, collate meeting papers and ensure internal communications are distributed.
- Follow up on actions arising from meetings and maintain accurate records.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
- Substantial experience as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated understanding of and respect for Indigenous peoples, cultures and communities.

- Full‑time permanent position with a salary range of $99,040 – $104,669 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
