Excavator Operator – Large‑Scale Mining (Hitachi EX5600)

About the role
Join a high‑performing mining team on the landmark Eva Copper Project in Queensland. As an Excavator Operator you will operate large‑scale equipment to support the development of what is set to become the largest greenfield copper mine in the state.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months experience in a mining production environment.
- Previous operation of large‑scale mining equipment, including 600 t excavators or equivalent.
- Current SSE‑signed training transcripts.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence.
Required skills
- Proficient operation of Hitachi EX5600 or equivalent‑sized excavators.
- Experience with 600 t class excavators in open‑pit mining.
