Estimator & Scheduler

About the role

Ceiling Solutions, one of Western Australia's largest residential wall and ceiling contractors, is hiring an Estimator & Scheduler in Perth. The role supports the delivery of residential wall and ceiling projects by coordinating material deliveries, scheduling labour and materials, preparing project documentation and assisting with project costing. It suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced team environment and keeps projects running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotes, material take-offs and project costings.
• Schedule labour and materials for new projects.
• Raise purchase orders and coordinate project documentation with suppliers and site teams.
• Review plans and contract documents and assist with required updates or changes.
• Support the wider operations team through communication, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Interest in construction and how residential homes are built.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to learn how to read plans, drawings and specifications.
• Experience in scheduling or estimating preferred but not essential.

Required skills

• Good computer systems proficiency and ability to learn new systems and tools.
• Clear communication and teamwork.
