Environmental Impact Assessment Professionals (Various Levels)

About the role

AECOM is seeking experienced environmental planning and approvals professionals to join its growing team in Sydney. You will contribute to high‑quality environmental impact assessments, strategic assessments and management plans for transport, renewable energy, water and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver environmental impact assessments and constraints analyses for a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate resources, budgets and timelines to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Engage with clients, support business development activities and help expand existing client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in environmental planning, approvals and consulting, preferably in NSW transport, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects, build client relationships and contribute to business growth.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with mentoring experience valued.

Required skills

• Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, planning, engineering or related discipline.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Environmentalist) is advantageous.
