Director, Renewable Energy & CleanTech Solutions, APAC

About the role

Vantage is seeking a commercially driven Director to lead renewable and clean‑tech strategy across APAC, supporting the rapid expansion of its data‑center platform. The role will originate, negotiate and deliver innovative energy solutions such as utility‑scale solar, wind, battery storage, fuel cells, hydrogen and micro‑grids.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term renewable energy and clean‑technology strategy aligned with business growth.
• Originate, structure and close complex energy transactions, including PPAs and utility supply agreements.
• Lead campus‑level energy solutions that enhance resilience, sustainability and capacity availability.
• Build and manage executive‑level relationships with utilities, regulators, developers and investors across APAC.
• Oversee project development from origination through construction, commissioning and commercial operation.

Required profile

• 15+ years in renewable energy, power, utilities or related sectors.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale solar, wind and BESS projects.
• Strong experience structuring PPAs, behind‑the‑meter connections and on‑site generation.
• Deep knowledge of APAC electricity markets, grid regulations and market dynamics.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
