Environmental Graduate Consultant - Contaminated Land

About the role

ERM Australia is recruiting recent Environmental graduates for its 2026 Graduate intake in the Contaminated Land Investigation, Assessment and Remediation area, based in the Newcastle office. The role suits candidates who want to start their career in the world's largest pure-play environmental and sustainability consultancy, with a career path supporting both technical and consulting development.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in environmental science, environmental engineering or a related degree.
• Recent graduate to 2 years of experience, or someone looking for a career change.
• Willingness to commit to fieldwork programs involving site visits, field studies and collection of environmental data and samples.
• Australian working rights.
• Valid driver's licence and a good driving record.

Required skills

• Effective written and verbal communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Experience recording, inputting and managing technical data and preparing reports.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, stay flexible, travel and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle several project assignments and meet strict deadlines in a consulting environment.
• Understanding of or experience with data management software and databases is beneficial.
