About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level IT Service Desk Analyst to join a leading global professional services organisation’s national Technology team. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers early‑career professionals the chance to work in a large enterprise environment, supporting users across multiple Australian cities while gaining exposure to enterprise‑scale technologies and IT Service Management best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for internal technology support, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software and Microsoft technologies.
• Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices and business applications.
• Escalate complex issues to specialist teams when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge articles.
• Work within an ITIL Service Management framework to ensure best‑practice handling of incidents and requests.
• Contribute to continual improvement initiatives for the Service Desk function.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a corporate IT environment, or a recent graduate with relevant internship or placement experience.
• Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Passion for technology and a desire to develop a long‑term IT career.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows, Office).
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and IT Service Management principles.
