Entry-Level Buying Roles – Category Buyer Assistant & Supply Coordinator

About the role

Myer Group is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its Merchandise Buying team in entry‑level positions. You will support the flow of products from suppliers to stores, gaining exposure to a variety of fashion and lifestyle categories.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Buyers, Product Managers and Merchandise teams.
• Maintain accurate product data, pricing, promotions and range documentation in internal systems.
• Create and update purchase orders, delivery schedules and buying tools.
• Coordinate product samples for buying, marketing, online and in‑store activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless product flow.
• Assist with stock delivery coordination, tracking timelines and resolving issues.
• Contribute to reporting, trade reports, campaign support and process improvements.

Required profile

• Passionate about retail, fashion or merchandise with a strong willingness to learn.
• Experience in retail, customer service, hospitality or administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
