Enterprise Account Executive - Federal

About the role

Databricks is seeking a passionate Enterprise Account Executive to drive adoption of its Data + AI platform across the Federal sector in Australia. Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, you will lead digital transformation initiatives for government agencies and shape Databricks’ public‑sector footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Identify key use cases and increase platform consumption to deliver measurable value.
• Lead initiatives that accelerate innovation, sustainability and economic development.
• Structure and close strategic opportunities aligned with Australia’s digital priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers and influence outcomes.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing transformative deals.
• Collaborate with solution architects, customer success and global teams to ensure long‑term adoption.

Required profile

• Motivation to help organisations use technology for the public good.
• Proven enterprise or public‑sector/Federal sales experience, preferably in Cloud, Data or SaaS.
• Strategic, structured approach with strong execution and accountability.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Growth mindset, creativity and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Knowledge of Spark and Big Data is highly desirable.
