Enrolled Nurse – Urgent Care (Maitland)

About the role

ForHealth is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join its Urgent Care service in Maitland. You will work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver safe, high‑quality care for non‑life‑threatening urgent conditions. This role offers a mix of clinical hands‑on work and administrative duties in a modern primary‑care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, organized clinical environment and keep the centre stocked and compliant.
• Balance administrative tasks (approximately 40%) such as Medicare billing, accurate coding, and documentation.
• Provide direct patient care (approximately 60%) including history taking, medication administration, wound care and plastering.
• Assist patients with appointment scheduling and maintain up‑to‑date registration details.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses to assess and treat injuries and illnesses.
• Deliver patient education to support recovery and self‑management.

Required profile

• Current Enrolled Nurse registration in Australia.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with Registered Nurses.
• Commitment to delivering safe, patient‑centred care in an urgent‑care setting.
