Enrolled Nurse – Emergency Department (Ballina, Grafton & Lismore)

About the role

Join a dedicated team delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care across the Emergency Departments of Ballina, Grafton and Lismore. As an Enrolled Nurse you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing safe, evidence‑based nursing care in a fast‑paced emergency setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering clinical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Perform nursing tasks in line with Ministry of Health policies, procedures and standards.
• Document patient observations, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Support the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective patient flow.
• Participate in quality improvement and infection control activities.

Required profile

• Current Enrolled Nurse registration in Australia.
• Legal right to work in Australia (no visa sponsorship offered).
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in an emergency environment.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, person‑centred care.
