English Teacher (Secondary) - Fixed Term

About the role

Governor Stirling Senior High School, established in 1959, is advertising a secondary English teacher position in Perth Metropolitan, Western Australia. Three 12-month fixed-term, full-time positions are available, commencing Term 1, 2027, with possible extension and/or permanency. The advert is part of a recruitment pilot that simplifies applications: a mandatory CV template is provided and only two AITSL domains are answered at application stage.

Required profile

• An eligible teacher qualification and registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
• Ability to apply for a WA Working with Children Check and consent to a criminal history check and obtain a Screening Clearance Number.
