Casual Trainer & Assessor - Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)

About the role

AICE delivers practical training and work placements for students entering the health care sectors, and is looking for an experienced, confident trainer to deliver face-to-face training and assessments for CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability). The role is casual and based out of the Queensland facility in Bethania.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and assess the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), including marking assessments
• Conduct workplace assessments
• Take part in reviewing and developing training course materials
• Maintain vocational competency and currency
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes such as validation and industry engagement
• Help the organisation comply with RTO standards 2015

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)
• Diploma of Community Services and Certificate IV in Ageing Support desirable
• NDIS clearance, WA Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain them
• Previous experience in course facilitation
• Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
