English Teacher (Permanent Full‑Time)

About the role

The position is a permanent full‑time English teaching role starting Term 1, 2027 at Kinross College. The teacher will deliver engaging, inclusive English programs aligned with curriculum requirements and support diverse student needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and refine high‑quality English lessons using explicit instruction, formative assessment and data analysis.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Integrate technology effectively into teaching, with familiarity in Compass considered an advantage.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff and families and contribute to the school’s professional learning culture.

Required profile

• Eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa.
• Student‑focused, effective communicator, team player and committed to professional growth.

Required skills

• Explicit instruction methodology.
• Formative assessment and data‑driven decision making.
• Use of educational technology, preferably Compass.
