English Language Speechwriter

About the role

Aramco’s Executive Writers Group is looking for an experienced English Language Speechwriter to craft high‑impact speeches, talking points, and video scripts for senior executives. You will work closely with the Chairman, President & CEO, and other senior leaders to shape the company’s public narrative.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit personalized English speeches, talking points, and video scripts for domestic, regional, and international events.
• Convert Arabic speech translations into polished English versions when required.
• Draft op‑eds, mass employee emails, executive correspondence, internal memos, year‑end messages, and forewords for external publications.
• Ensure all deliverables align with corporate messaging, press releases, videos, social media, and website content while preserving each executive’s voice.
• Identify strategic speaking opportunities to expand senior executives’ share of voice.
• Build trusted relationships with senior executives, their offices, and key internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a world‑class institution (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum three years of speechwriting experience at the highest corporate levels, preferably in the energy sector.
• At least five years in communication roles, with exposure to government or NGOs considered a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the energy industry and international relations, business, academia, and technology.
• Native English speaker with the ability to diplomatically engage, counsel, and influence senior leaders.
