English & Humanities Teacher (Senior School)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate English and Humanities teacher for senior school students at an independent, co‑educational college in Perth. The role is full‑time and begins in Term 3, 2026, with an initial one‑year contract and the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English and Humanities lessons for senior students.
• Inspire creativity, critical thinking and problem‑solving through hands‑on learning.
• Integrate design, technology and sustainability concepts into curriculum where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in senior secondary English and/or Humanities.
• Commitment to a personalised, student‑centred approach.
• Ability to foster curiosity and a love of learning.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
