Engineering Graduate Program – 2027 (Australia)

About the role

Air Liquide Australia is offering an 18‑month Engineering Graduate Program starting in January 2027. The programme rotates graduates through core business units, providing hands‑on experience in plant operations, maintenance, safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations, maintenance, inventory control, safety and quality activities alongside leaders and technical specialists.
• Participate in plant production, reporting and data analysis.
• Contribute to productivity and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Engage with operations teams to deepen understanding of plant processes.
• Interact with customer‑facing engineering and sales teams to appreciate client requirements.
• Develop troubleshooting skills on plant and facility issues and assist in delivering solutions.
• Prepare and review documentation required by corporate, regulatory and safety standards.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or soon‑to‑graduate) with a degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high accountability and adaptability.
• Resilient, eager to be challenged and grow beyond comfort zones.
• Collaborative mindset with a hands‑on approach to building relationships.
