Enforcement Trailer Operator Team Leader

About the role

Acusensus is seeking a hands‑on leader to head its Western Australia Enforcement Trailer Operator (ETO) team. You will oversee the full lifecycle of enforcement trailer deployments, ensuring safety, compliance and quality while driving road‑safety outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and manage the WA ETO team, handling performance, training, rostering and WHS compliance.
• Plan and coordinate the relocation and deployment of enforcement trailers in close partnership with Help Desk and Project Engineers.
• Provide on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance and technical support for deployed systems.
• Mentor emerging leaders and deliver accredited training programmes such as the TS1 Speed Enforcement Program and TruCAM II device.
• Represent Acusensus and its operators at court appearances when required.
• Contribute to research‑and‑development testing and new deployment initiatives.

Required profile

• Current driver’s licence with an excellent driving record.
• Access to a vehicle capable of towing a 2,000 kg enforcement trailer.
• Valid WHS White Card and willingness to undergo police, driving‑history and background checks.
• Ability to safely tow, reverse heavy trailers and perform minor mechanical maintenance.
• Strong communication, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• High School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.

Required skills

• Practical experience with field equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of WHS compliance and safety procedures.
