Emergency Registered Nurse

About the role

Werribee Mercy Hospital is expanding its Emergency Department, doubling its capacity with 34 new treatment spaces including resuscitation bays and short-stay beds, to serve an additional 25,000 patients a year. It is recruiting experienced registered nurses for the new ED, with a rotating roster covering AM, PM and night shifts. The hospital offers tailored training and continuous support from its ED education team.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Postgraduate Critical Care qualification (highly regarded, not essential)
• At least 12 months of experience in an Emergency Department
• Resilient, compassionate and committed to patient-centred care
• Flexible, positive approach to patient care and management
• Police record check and Working with Children Check, and proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations consistent with public health orders
