Emergency Medicine Consultant – Relocate to Regional Victoria

About the role

Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant (FACEM) to join one of Victoria’s largest regional health services. The position is based in Shepparton and offers the chance to work in a high‑acuity Emergency Department while leading a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality specialist emergency care in a busy regional ED.
• Deliver clinical leadership during shifts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor registrars, junior medical officers and medical students.
• Collaborate with GV Health specialists and support out‑of‑hours coverage, including weekends.
• Contribute to strategic planning, service development and quality improvement.

Required profile

• Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM).
• Current specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated leadership, teaching and supervision experience.
• Commitment to best‑practice, patient‑centred emergency care.
