Emergency Medicine Consultant – Regional Western Australia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant (FACEM) to join WA Health in a regional location. The position can start in August 2025 or sooner, offering both full‑time and part‑time options across a variety of vibrant communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency care, including trauma management and inter‑hospital transfers.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise Registrars and Junior Medical Officers and contribute to medical student teaching.
• Manage patient flow within the Emergency Department to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Emergency Medicine Specialist (FACEM).
• Demonstrated clinical leadership in a hospital setting.
• Willingness to work in regional Western Australia.
