Emergency Medicine Consultant – Regional Western Australia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant (FACEM) to join a regional health service in Western Australia. The position offers both full‑time and part‑time options, with a start date from August 2025 or as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency care across a broad case mix, including trauma and inter‑hospital transfers.
• Lead clinical teams to optimise patient outcomes, collaborating with rural generalists and multidisciplinary staff.
• Supervise Registrars and Junior Medical Officers and contribute to teaching medical students and JMOs.
• Manage patient flow within the Emergency Department to ensure efficient, effective service delivery.

Required profile

• Current Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in emergency medicine, preferably in regional or rural settings.
• Strong clinical leadership and a commitment to teaching and mentorship.
• Willingness to relocate to one of the listed regional locations in WA.
