Emergency Enrolled Nurse

About the role

The Emergency Department at Ryde Hospital is expanding and modernising, and we are looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our team. You will deliver safe, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced environment, working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to emergency patients in line with the Primary Nurse’s care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with LHD policies.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress and respond to changing clinical needs.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality care in an emergency setting.

Required skills

• Competence in medication administration under supervision.
• Understanding of the Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice.
