Emergency Department Registrar – Regional South Australia

About the role

We are seeking qualified Emergency Department Registrars to join established regional hospitals across South Australia from August 2026. The role offers broad, hands‑on emergency medicine experience within supportive, well‑structured departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse case mix of adult and paediatric emergency presentations.
• Develop and refine procedural and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.
• Gain continuity of care experience within regional hospital networks.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience at Emergency Department Registrar level.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eligibility for registration with AHPRA or pathway eligibility (e.g., Competent Authority Pathway).
