Elevated Work Platform (72m) Operator – Transmission Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Operator to join the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project in Mudgee, Australia. The role involves operating 72 m boom lifts to provide safe access for overhead construction on transmission structures, working on a 14‑day on / 7‑day off roster.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 72 m EWPs and large boom lifts to support overhead construction activities.
• Perform pre‑start checks, routine maintenance and safety inspections of lift equipment.
• Position equipment safely to enable work at height on transmission structures.
• Coordinate with linesmen, riggers and site crews to sequence tasks.
• Follow lift plans, site procedures and working‑at‑heights protocols.
• Assist with general site duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating EWPs or similar large boom lifts.
• Valid High Risk Work Licence (WP).
• Experience on overhead transmission line or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to work on a remote site with a 14‑day on / 7‑day off roster.
