Electrical Team Leader - Solar Farm

About the role

A growing renewable energy company operating multiple solar sites is seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader or Supervisor to lead the maintenance and operation of its utility-scale solar farms. The role is full-time and permanent, working Monday to Friday in regional New South Wales, with shifts from 7 am to 3 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a technical team in maintaining the electrical infrastructure of a major solar site.
• Oversee and carry out scheduled maintenance on high voltage switchgear and critical inverter equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults to keep power production running continuously.
• Work closely with site supervisors and mentor team members.
• Keep electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance strictly observed.

Required profile

• Electrical certification and proven experience maintaining high voltage electrical equipment.
• Experience leading small technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills in solar generation environments.
• Legal work rights in Australia; sponsorship and work visas are not available.
