Electrical Maintenance Coordinator (FIFO)

About the role

Hancock Iron Ore's Port Maintenance team is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator to join a 14/14 days and nights FIFO roster from Perth to Port Hedland. Reporting to the Supervisor Port Maintenance, you will support the safe and effective delivery of electrical maintenance across the port operations, acting as a key field point of contact.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support electrical maintainers to complete daily work safely and efficiently
• Provide field support to crews, including guidance, coaching, parts coordination and work prioritisation
• Act as first point of contact for maintenance escalations and support issue resolution in the field
• Coordinate breakdowns, planned maintenance, unplanned works and break-in tasks
• Provide supervisory relief as required
• Lead and support crew pre-starts, toolbox meetings, written updates and face-to-face communications
• Assist in developing and executing risk-based activities and work method statements in line with HSES requirements
• Maintain and update SAP, DigiLEAN and other reporting systems as required
• Report incidents, injuries and near misses promptly and manage hazards

Required profile

• WA A Grade Electrical Licence
• Valid Australian C Class Manual Driver's Licence
• Strong understanding of electrical maintenance in a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Statutory 26 certification highly desirable
• Previous supervisory or coordination experience desirable
• Must be legally permitted to work permanently in Australia
