E&I Technician – Renewable Energy Project

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an E&I Technician to support the East Rockingham Waste‑to‑Energy Project in Perth. You will implement and monitor engineering systems on a 24‑hour shift, ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance while contributing to renewable energy generation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide E&I support and execute tasks under the direction of the E&I Team Leader.
• Maintain safe working processes and implement safety systems.
• Manage contractors and control their work areas.
• Ensure compliance with E&I standards using best practices.
• Carry out asset management and maintenance activities within agreed timeframes.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop strategic plans for facility availability.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mining, Heavy Industry or related field.
• Previous experience in renewable energy or waste‑management sectors.
• At least 5 years of industrial experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
